Ideal for creating soft gathers in lightweight fabrics, the gathering foot makes it simple to create the gather that you want. The underside of the foot is raised behind the needle with an additional metal plate in front of the needle to produce gathers on a single layer of fabric. Take the hassle out of gathering with the handy gathering foot.
